With the big holiday companies and their wedding packages, you are just another wedding on their conveyor belt with limited flexibility and contacting the dreaded rep can be easier said than done. I must admit that Kelly and I were looking to go down that road, simply because we didn’t know of any other way. Until we chanced upon Igor and his I-Do wedding company, that is.

Igor is a massively experienced, professional and dedicated wedding planner who takes personal pride in ensuring that your day goes without any hint of a hitch. He will not give you the hard sell on any aspect, particularly choice of reception venues, of which he took us to several. He gives an honest and forthright opinion at all times, explaining to you the pros and (importantly) the cons. You are always in control, and Igor will ensure that your wishes become reality. It helps too if you don’t go with a fixed idea of what you want: let Igor have his say, and take his advice on board. Believe me, he knows what he’s talking about.

We decided to fly out to meet him twice before our actual wedding holiday to organize things face-to-face, and on both occasions Igor was accessible at all times to answer our questions and to make appointments either to pick us up at our hotel, or to pop into his office in Paphos. He has an enormous network of contacts, and seems to know everybody who matters from restaurant owners and villa agents, to being on first name terms with Town Hall officials which makes things so much easier!

Needless to say, our wedding at Pegeia town hall, with reception at Oliveto, went without any problems. We had twelve adult guests and three small children, and everybody had a relaxed, stress-free day all thanks to Igor who was in the background making sure everything went well. The quality of the photographs (which we received in four days) was outstanding, and I recommend you get the CD in addition to the official album.

Weddings are big business in the Paphos area, but I think, and Igor passionately believes, that you need the personal touch to make things special. You need someone you can contact to answer your questions, and crucially, you need someone you can trust to organise your wedding behind the scenes so you can relax and enjoy yourself. Igor did all of this for us, and we don’t know what we would have done without him. A true master of his art.”
