My husband Ewan and I got married at Peyia Town Hall on 1^st June and we wanted to write to say thank you to Catherine at ‘I Do’ weddings for making our wedding day run so smoothly – it was everything we wanted and more! From my first point of contact with Catherine back in October she was nothing but professional and always answered my emails quickly and with all the information I needed. She was incredibly reassuring and in the days running up to the wedding I didn’t feel stressed or worried at all as I knew everything was in hand. When we arrived in Cyprus we met with Catherine all morning to go through all the details for the wedding. We also got to meet Igor who owns ‘I Do weddings’ and he was lovely too. We would highly recommend Peyia Town Hall as a wedding venue, it was beautiful and the photographer provided by ‘I Do’ was brilliant and the quality of the photo’s we have is amazing. We also chose to do a 2 hour sunset yacht cruise from Paphos Harbour which I would highly recommend too. It was such a treat for our guests and we had such a great time on board with the music playing and a chocolate fountain on the go!

Overall, I couldn’t fault ‘I Do’ weddings on anything, the service they provided is outstanding and Catherine is so good at what she does. She was a pleasure to deal with and our wedding day was magical and full of wonderful memories for us to treasure.

We had a dream – to marry on a beach with a beautiful setting with our closest friends and family to witness our commitment and declaration of love to each other.  We chose Cyprus because of the beautiful scenery and the climate it has to offer as well as it being home to Aphrodite the goddess of love.  After discovering Cyprus Law is based on British Law it became even more reassuring to know that it would be less complicated to get married over there in comparison to other countries, as we had both been married before.  We looked at a lot of wedding planners websites in Cyprus claiming you could get married on a beach.  Only to discover upon contact with them they did not offer such a thing.  The closest you could get to a beach wedding was in a hotel with a beachfront location. 

Then we stumbled upon I Do.  At this point we were considering having to forget our dream and settle for a hotel, which for us was not romantic at all and really – nothing special. We contacted I Do with the same question we had previously asked the other planners - can we actually get married on a beach location and not a hotel beach location??  We couldn’t quite believe the reply we got from I Do saying YES!!  That’s when the dream became a reality for us and without Igor nothing would have been possible.  Within 24 hours after asking plenty of questions, Igor contacted us and we discussed exactly what we wanted and paid a deposit. At first we had massive reservations about everything as we were putting our trust and handing over money for something to someone we had never met before.  Throughout the following months we asked even more questions and they were always answered very quickly and there was nothing that they wouldn’t try to do for us to make our day special and how we wanted it.  The last few months flew by and Igor and the staff at I Do informed us every step of the way what we needed to do regarding all the legalities.  Even at this point we were still not at ease as we were not in control of organising everything like you would be back here in the UK. 

 Finally we were on our way to Cyprus knowing that we would be meeting up with Igor the next day and all the final arrangements would be made for our wedding. 

 From the moment we met Igor he was very professional yet friendly but most importantly relaxed.  He was helpful and considerate with regards to our wishes.  He did not try to hard sell us anything to bump up the costs and suggested several things which we didn’t even think about.  We spent several hours at least with him going through everything and then unexpectedly to us, he took us on a tour of Paphos and showed us where the best cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, clubs, bars, ice cream parlour and attractions were.  This was an added bonus and came very handy for the rest of our stay in Cyprus.  At the end of our first meeting we felt completely relaxed and reassured and confident that Igor would make our day as special as we wanted it to be.    

 On the day, Igor was just amazing.  The weather was not on our side but we were determined we were going to get married (much to Igor’s surprise I think).  But he carried on and made our day amazingly special and one we will treasure forever.  It was simply perfect.  From the beach being beautifully decorated, the seclusion of the beach, ensuring the children were entertained with the ladybugs, the flowers, the cake, everything just everything was perfect.

 Igor came back to us the next day with the proofs of the photos and within 2/3 days we had our wedding album. 

From the very first point of contact all those months ago to our final goodbye, Igor was simply the best.  I highly recommend I Do and Igor to make your day special like it should be with the confidence in knowing that you will be looked after and in turn will receive an outstanding service from I Do.

We just wanted to send you a little note of thanks for all you done to make our special day amazing! Thank you is not a word to truly express how we feel, in fact nothing would be able to express our appreciation, and heartfelt gratitude we feel. We went out to Cyprus to meet our wedding planner but came home with a new member of our family!!

From start to finish you thought of everything, the tour and initial meeting with you helped us to understand just how amazing a day we could of had, and of course your guidance (about everything including the little things like strap marks!) and knowledge of the area and resources we could use, blew us away. You literally thought of every aspect of the day from start to finish.

We were so amazed with how smoothly things ran up to our wedding day and you made everything seem seamless, we would have never been able to plan a day so amazing if we were to go alone. We were touched that you included our families and considered their needs also, this made for less stress for us on the day to know that they are catered and provided for. Catherine was lovely and really helped us also when we were preparing for our day.

The I do Beach was a dramatic and wonderful setting and we loved every minute of it, the backdrop and the setting looked amazing, and we felt like we were having a truly unique day. Our families are still talking about how special it was and how wonderful a setting we picked. It truly looked like something that belonged in a film it was beautiful and the Photographs looked amazing!!

We were also impressed with the professionalism of the Photographer and Video crew as they took some fabulous pictures, we loved them so much we had to buy the rights as we would of been heartbroken not to have had all the pictures. People are amazed about how amazing the pictures look and about the speed it took and the quality of the photographs, we would recommend them to anyone.

Our reception was fabulous and the cocktail bar and Tavern made for such an amazing and unique end to our day, we loved the dancing and our meal, in such a fun place, we still laugh about the dances the guys had us doing. It really was something we could never get here in England.

Thank you Igor, we can’t tell you how much a wonderful day we had. We appreciate and are so happy with all you have done for us, you went way further than above and beyond for us and we want you to know the memories you helped us to have will be held most precious to us and we will be eternally grateful for the rest of our lives. After a lot of research we selected “I Do” to assist us with our wedding in Cyprus. From the offset, Igor and the team couldn’t have been more helpful. They helped us plan the wedding including selecting the location of the ceremony, the yacht, the taverna and many of the smaller details including the transport, hair dressers, flowers, etc. 
 
By the time we flew out, we were very confident but from our arrival “I Do” exceeded themselves through their helpfulness and commitment. “I Do” had recently secured a licence to enable ceremonies on the actual beach and they invited us to be their very first couple to get married in this way. They produced a wonderful setting, spending hours preparing everything for us. We got married overlooking the sea, with a wonderful layout including a red carpet, flowers, chairs for the guests and so on. It really was the stuff of dreams.
 
From start to finish, the team were fantastic, their choice of venues was spot on and they took such good care of us, I was slightly ill a couple of days before the wedding and they even helped me get medicine to try and get my voice back for the big day.
 
Their aftercare was equally impressive, ensuring we got our DVD and Photographs all sorted before we returned to the UK.
 
Whilst I am not given to over exaggeration, I can truly say that they were one of the most professional and helpful organisations I have ever dealt with. By the end of our wedding day, they had become friends as much as anything else and we wish them all the best for the future and hope many couples follow us onto that beautiful beach.
 
For anyone planning or even thinking about a Cyprus wedding, I would sincerely recommend making “I Do” your first port of call.

I would thoroughly recommend “I Do”. From the moment I contacted them with my enquiry they were more than helpful. I booked them quickly after that as they were very efficient. No query was too much – and I had more than a few and also changed my mind so many times. When I got to Cyprus and met Igor he put my mind totally at rest about everything. He is so helpful and funny it was great dealing with him.

On the day, Igor and Susan were on hand, with us every step of the way. The flowers were beautiful, just what I had asked for, I wanted them very natural, no fuss. Our wedding was at the Town Hall, it was lovely and traditional and felt very right for us. I went through all the options at the start and was recommended this with what we had in mind and I was more than pleased with the surroundings and the people they were so friendly, the service was lovely and the vows very touching, more sentiment than what we would have here.

We then went onto Vasilias for our reception. This is absolutely beautiful and if you are looking for something very Cypriot and traditional this is it. Igor and Christina from Vasilias made sure everything went well. Our Cypriot dancers “I Do” arranged were brilliant. I was so worried with us only being a small party – 21 – that no one would get up and dance and enjoy themselves. The dancers made sure everyone took part and you didn’t feel forced, it was such a good start to the night after the meal and set the mood for the rest of the night. We then went onto have a disco which “I Do” also arranged, yet again brilliant. I had emailed “I Do” with a range of songs so as the DJ knew what kind of music we were into and he played perfectly. For such a small party of us everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and said they would never experience another wedding like it.

I am just sorry it’s all over with, I would do it all again in a minute and book ”I Do” all over again, in fact I wish Igor was with me to help with my do I’m having here for all those who didn’t make Cyprus.

We had booked our own photographer but Igor was on hand with his camera also, clicking away and making us laugh. The photographer left before the meal but Igor stayed til the end and was always with his camera, I think he was enjoying himself too much to leave though. They are brilliant photos and gave us the memories of our reception which we wouldn’t have had if it had not been for Igor. We have funny photos with the Cypriot dancers and also of everyone dancing at the disco. Everyone joined in, Igor, Susan and the staff at Vasilias. We have some good photos of Igor with his make shift kilt, you are well known over here Igor.

When you’re planning a wedding in a country you’ve never been to before you need a certain amount of luck. The biggest slice of luck I had was finding the guys at ‘I Do’. My fiancée, Helen, and I arrived four days before the big event. The whole wedding was to be a surprise, so apart from the legal paperwork faxed over a few days before, nothing had been planned. Helen didn’t even know where she was going until we landed in Paphos. Part of the reason I’d arranged the wedding in secret was that Helen wasn’t sure what she wanted. I can pay no bigger or better compliment to the guys at ‘I Do’ than to say that Helen said afterwards that she couldn’t have wished for, or dreamed of, a more perfect wedding. We booked our wedding with I Do over a year in advance. From a very early stage their way of doing things gave me a very strong feeling that we were using a company that cared about the happy couple.

Heather came into the equation when we needed to get sent over the legal stuff and again the manner in which we were dealt with made me feel very confidant that there was to be no nasty surprises when we got to Cyprus!

We were told that once we arrived in Cyprus Igor would then take over the planning and preparation for the wedding. I could use so many words to describe Igor!!

He is passionate about making sure you have the perfect day.
He has a warm and friendly way about him that makes you want to love him!!
He is enthusiastic and lively, he can talk for ages about anything but remains interesting at the same time. His conversation has a knack of calming you down when you may otherwise feel stressed!

He is persistent in ensuring other people you may need to use for the wedding (photographer, hairdresser, dress steam lady etc etc) are delivering services above your expectations. I left Cyprus not just with a new wife but someone I would consider to be a friend.I could go on and on!!!

If you are getting married in Paphos, don’t think twice about using Igor and his team, they will exceed your expectation and help to deliver a day beyond your dreams.

The only thing I would add is do not rush into booking any services with anybody in Cyprus yourself from the UK. Speak to Igor first, if he arranges anything he can control it how you would want it controlling. If you arrange anything independently you are in the hands of the gods. Do not feel you will not have enough time when you get there. If you need anything Igor will sort it out, trust me. I’m so sorry I haven’t emailed as time has passed so quickly! I wanted to send an email/testimonial to show our gratitude to all of you!

It’s a very difficult thing to put into words how grateful we are.  From the moment we emailed you we were met with such professionalism that we were immediately put at ease.  All of our questions (regardless of how trivial) were answered promptly and advice was given whenever we needed it. (We are eternally grateful Mandy!)   You informed us when we needed to visit our solicitors etc and confirmed everything we had done was correct. 

I was still anxious when we arrived in Cyprus.  Obviously you would be if you were leaving the whole of your wedding up to someone you have never met!  I know now that I shouldn’t have worried.  From the moment we met Igor he was so caring, approachable and extremely professional.  After 5 mins I felt like I had known him all of my life!  Even when we changed our wedding venue Igor was so relaxed and simply said, “don’t worry about it!” These would be the words I would hear a lot throughout the holiday.  It was quite amazing to see other people signing the appropriate info at Peyia Municipality looking stressed and anxious.  We were changing the venue and managed to still laugh! That’s how relaxed we were.  After signing everything Igor organised the rest of our wedding with ease-a true professional!  He then told us to enjoy our holiday! This was fab!

After meeting with Igor a few other times the whole wedding was organised smoothly. This was a great weight lifted of our shoulders!

On the wedding day I was anxious until I heard Igor’s voice on the phone.  He was so reassuring and actually had strawberries sent to my room.  This was so thoughtful! He even arrived earlier than planned to make sure I was ok.  It was even more wonderful to see Mandy waiting to make sure we got in the car safely for the wedding.  For that we are extremely grateful.  Thank you. 

Well what can I say about the venue? Paliomonastiro is possibly the most beautiful wedding venue in the world! It looked stunning! Igor had arranged it in such a thoughtful way.  I actually cried when I saw it!  The whole service went wonderfully and the champagne went down very well.  Igor even arranged for the fun bus to stay longer so we could enjoy more drinks/photos etc – again a great touch!  We then all returned to the Romantica on the fun bus- Igor thank you for suggesting that we all arrive together-it was so much fun! (Warm but fun!) 

The Romantica was also brilliant.  It was beautifully decorated!  The cake was very cute and the atmosphere was fabulous!  I don’t want to even start on the food.  It was the best food I’ve ever ever tasted.  The meze was amazing!! Bambos is so accommodating and his staff were brilliant.  We had such a fun time and even managed a dance! (We were so full of food by this time) 

There’s so much I would like to add in this email but I think I’d be writing for weeks!  We had the best wedding ever! My aunt keeps saying it looks like something out of an ‘ok’ magazine.  It was beautiful, and so relaxed.   We are both eternally grateful for all of the help you gave us and you made our wedding day the best day of our lives.  Thank you so so much.  I have placed a long email on www.youandyourwedding.com saying how brilliant you were.  This is the least I could do. 

I truly think that we have not only met a team of professionals but now see you as true friends.  We hope that your business continues to thrive – it deserves to! There is no one even close to you when it comes to wedding planning in Cyprus.  If I could give you any advice it would be to charge more! The amount you do for the price you charge is unbelievable.

I don’t know where to begin on how to thank you for the most wonderful day of my life.
So I’m going to try.
Igor, when Mandy first contacted us and told us that you would be dealing with our wedding I have to say I panicked I thought my husband to be wouldn’t know anything about weddings and it’s his wedding so how is this man going to know what I want. Boy was I wrong. Igor, my day was prefect in every way. When we travelled out in October 2008 for a holiday before the wedding, you meet with us you showed us some amazing places to hold our service but when I saw the Ayia Kyriaki church I just feel in love, it was the perfect little church. You showed us hotel receptions and when I saw the hotel that I thought I wanted and was greatly disappointed you knew exactly what I was after and showed me the Almyra hotel and it just took my breath away. Every thing we needed from the wedding flowers, the cars, the village bus for my guests, gifts for my bridal party, flowers for my mum, you had it all under control. Even when my bag was lost after the wedding, which you could have walked away and said your job was done, but again you just picked up your phone and within minutes you found my bag. You had someone come to my room and steam the bridesmaids dress. Even when guests arrived the day before the wedding as a surprise you sorted it with the hotel. You did everything above and beyond the call of duty nothing at all was to much trouble. Our photographs by the pink panther studio are amazing it’s so hard to pick from over 400 photos so it’s a great idea to buy them on disk. Igor, everything you did for us was amazing even after our wedding you made it the best two weeks of our lives we meet some amazing people that we are now proud to call friends. We have never met anyone like you Igor you really are a godsend to any bride and a truly remarkable man. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for the most unforgettable day of our lives.

Everyone knows how stressful a wedding can be in your own country never mind one abroad, but I can truthfully say Igor and his team definitely eased the stress a lot. 

From the smallest of details like the buttonholes to the larger details like the wedding meal, every detail was treated with the same equality and nothing was of any hassle. We honestly, from the bottom of our hearts could not have done it without him.  He’s such a genuine nice person, not out to get as much money as he can but to make sure you have the best day of your life.  And in the wedding industry, let’s face it, everyone knows that this is not always the case but it certainly was for us.

Our feet haven’t touched the ground since we got home. Sharon has been on either on night duty or working a late shift one day with an early shift the following morning. We’ll get back to a more normal married life after she finishes her nights on Wednesday. Our reception is next Saturday so we’re busy getting prepared for that.

Many thanks for all your help and support for our wedding on the 15/4/09, it was beautiful. I hope Igor has managed to recover from our mad family, and the laid back bride. I’m sorry it has been late coming , but I have to say, it was a shock when we got back home, and had to go back to work – I suppose some has too. Anyway the new shop should be open or at least finished by now, so I wish you all the best with that and don’t forget us when you come to England, as we won’t forget you when we come back to cyprus- hopefully next year.

Dear Igor, Mandy and the I do Wedding Team,

Firstly it has to be a great thank you for all your help, care and dedication in making our wedding a very special and memorable occasion. Igor can only be described as a legend who is a top quality guy, working with him was fun and effortless. What became quickly apparent is his value added service and the strong belief in saving us unnecessary expenditure. He always ensures that you are happy and can read facial expressions like a cheap novel. My wife was a classic example with regards to the wedding reception venue, Igor could tell by her facial expressions that she was not fully engaged with the one she chose back in England. He said ”right you are not excited about this venue, then we will find one that you are excited about”. Through his outstanding relationship network and the ability to feel what we would like, he showed us Chillingtons Restaurant near St Georges Chapel, which she fell in love with and the facial expressions were there for all to see :-).

I cannot speak highly enough of the service provided by Igor and his team, everyone at our wedding stated what a top guy and how extremely helpful he was.

When in Paphos you will see a lot of tour operators organising  weddings, couples do not receive the individual care, are treated in groups and share reception venues. The Unique Selling Point for I do Weddings is that you are the centre of their attention, our wedding was special and individual, not packaged. This was not us stating this, this was a couple who got married via the tour operators.

I guess the biggest tribute we can state, is if we were going to do this again, would we change anything? The answer is NO as I do Weddings made it perfect the first time round.

Again a very big thank you goes to Igor, Mandy and the rest of the I do Wedding team. We wish you all the best for the future and I would recommend anybody thinking of getting married in Paphos, to liaise with Igor ( www.ido.com.cy). As they will make the most important day of your life, as perfect and stress free as is humanely possible.

Hello I Do Team,

Just a short message to say thanks again.  I can’t believe that Mike and I have been married for 2 weeks, it just seems like yesterday.  All back to normal now.

I DO WEDDINGS are not just there for you on the BIG day but 12 months prior to the wedding they kept in constant contact with little reminders and everything we asked for we got – nothing was too much trouble!! Even when my wedding dress didn’t arrive until the day before the wedding Heather from I Do offered to take me to Bridal Shops in Cyprus and assist me find a new one…they certainly went the extra mile and would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to marry in Cyprus

Myself and Gavin would just like to say a huge thank you, especially to Heather for her hard work,time and effort she put in to help us have the perfect wedding. From sorting out the paperwork and arranging our meeting with the priest to decorating our reception tables, Heather was brilliant and always had everything under control. The flowers were amazing and were exactly what we wanted and the cake was beautiful. The dancers and dj provided by yourselves were great and provided the perfect entertainment for our reception.
 
I would recommend anyone who is thinking about getting married in Paphos to contact I Do and I guarantee they will have the best service any wedding planner can give. Heather was absolutely amazing and we would have been lost without her.

After submitting an enquiry by email I was contacted by Igor the following morning . He explained how he was unavailable for our chosen dates but we could have Heather as our planner if we wished. We spoke to Heather the following week and over the next 9 months many, many times. All emails were answered promptly and calls always made at pre-arranged times. Everything was explained in detail and there was never any pressure to book anything.
 
It was great having a contact in Paphos making all the bookings for us; it took a lot of the pressure away. Heather booked the civil ceremony and also the service in Ayia Kyriaki. We had done some research ourselves and liked the look of Romantica Restaurant, after it appeared on Heathers list of suitable Restaurants we decided to book our reception there. There were going to be 32 of us including 10 children, 3 of them under 4. 
 
We made arrangements for Heather to come see us with details of flowers, photographer, cake, transport etc on our arrival in Paphos. On that day after deciding on our flowers, transport and photography package Heather gave us a tour of our venues. We first went to Yeuroskipou which is a gorgeous setting for a wedding and filled in our paperwork etc. We then went to Ayia Kyriaki where we were stunned by the church and the grounds. Next we met with the manager in Romanticas .It really was good to have Heather with us while finalising all the details. The following day we were introduced to the Catholic wedding co-ordinator and met with Fr. John to go through more paperwork and our ceremony details.
 
Heather came with us on June 25th to Yeroskipou where she agreed to be one of our witnesses and even took our photos. On the morning of our church ceremony Heather was on hand with the flowers. She kept us informed when the car was late through no fault of the driver. When we went to the church she carried spare shoes for my bridesmaid and my parasol for the photos. After a beautiful service we had some photos taken with our guests at the church then went down to the harbour to have some taken on our own.One point about the photos which has been remarked by previous couples on this site is it is really hard to pick your photos out of all that are taken, be prepared to change your mind and have them all on a disc! After that we went back to Romanticas for our reception where we had a wonderful meal and an evening of fun. So to anyone thinking of having their wedding in Paphos our recommendations would be;

• Heather or any of her colleagues to help with all your plans
• Yeroskipou for a civil ceremony
• Ayia Kyriaki Church for a catholic ceremony
• Pink Panther Photography
• Romanticas Restaurant for their brilliant food and friendly atmosphere

After our Wedding was turning into an absolute nightmare through Thomas Cook, we learnt of a person called Igor at Ido Weddings. His name kept popping up when we were using Trip Advisor.  Everyone described him as fantastic and making every detail perfect on their wedding day. After his initial consultation our wedding plans turned from a nightmare to optimism.

When the time finally came to meet him we were bowled over by the way he took on board what we wanted for our day and presented us with different possibilities of venues, flowers etc.  Igor made us feel at ease and any worries soon disappeared.  We had our wedding organised within a morning and already it was looking amazing.

On the day the transport, horse and carriage, ceremony, photographs, video and reception just went seamlessly.  Igor was like a conductor within an orchestra bringing all the parts of the day together in perfect synchronism.  Even when our choice of sunset photos wasn’t looking good he whisked us off to an alternative location with enough time to get some truly memorable photos.  Not only that but staying in the background of the wedding until the very end ensuring we were truly happy throughout the night.

On reflection we are glad Thomas Cook let us down otherwise we would never have met Igor, a truly astounding person.  We thank him and his colleagues at Ido weddings for providing us and our families a day we will never forget.

So the story begins…

Willi and I decided to spend the rest of our life together in January 07.

Few month ago we thought it would be nice to get married in Cyprus (though both of us has never been there).  I surfed on internet and found around 5 different wedding organizing company and contacted them.  After few days I received a reply from ‘I do wedding’ and until today the other companies never replied to us. ( but it doesn’t matter as we got married by the BEST).  What I can say everything was just perfect…perfectly organized and the party at Demokritos was awesome.

Well what can we say! We had a perfect day thanks to Igor at i do weddings. Everything went according to plan and nothing was too much trouble for Igor to sort out. Our guests also had a wonderful time and it was a day we will all remember for many years to come.

We would advise not to make any arrangements for the first day of your holiday as the day is pretty hectic sorting things out for the big day, however it is well worth it. Igor likes to make sure everything is exactly as you want it and works on the best value for money, his favourite saying “Any questions?” is sure to be one you will hear on many occasions!

Things we would recommend
1. Roses or the bouquet, they were wonderful and a very good price.
2. The village fun bus if you have 15-20 guests. The Children loved it!
3. Pink panther photographer. We were very pleased with the quality of the photographs and they came in a lovely album, however we found it hard work to choose only 24 so we would recommend you take extra money to purchase the cd containing all of the photos, this cost us around £270 cy which may sound a lot but this gave us around 400 photos to do with as we wish.
4. Demokritos Traditional taverna for your evening meal. It was very good value for money and the entertainment really made our night. It was good fun and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.

Just to finish we would like to say a big thank you once again to Igor for making our day very special with no stress (Even though you had your own problems at the time) We all had a truley wonderful time!

We first got in touch with I do weddings when we were dissatisfied with the level of service from one of the tour operators. Almost immediately after our first contact with Igor we had a date set and any fears we had were put to rest.

In the days leading up to the wedding Igor never left our side and his hard work, commitment, selflessness and attention to detail gave us the perfect wedding and a day of happiness.

Friends of friends of ours first recommended Igor when they found out we wanted to get married abroad. We had at first thought of using another firm but they didn’t come recommended.

The first decision we made was to get married in Cyprus…the best decision we made was to ask Igor at I do weddings to help us plan it.

How can we possibly begin to describe the best day of our lives?!

Igor, even before we arrived in Cyprus, you called us several times to check we were happy with the arrangements, which went a long way towards reassuring us that you had everything well under control.

All of the recommendations you made were absolutely spot on. The Pink Panther photo company created fabulous photos and a DVD to remind of us how much we enjoyed our day. Demokritos was a great venue for the reception. The food and service were fantastic, and the evening entertainment was great fun! The DJ you recommended was perfect and played all our favourite songs. The florist provided beautiful flowers (so lovely that I couldn’t bear to throw my bouquet!!) We would highly recommend all of these to anyone planning a wedding in Paphos.

The personal touch you gave us was priceless and we are extremely grateful to you for all the time you spent with us. We never imagined that our wedding Co-coordinator would be as genuinely kind, helpful, honest and professional as you.

PS there were 19 of us here and Igor has been the topic of many conversations. Two couples in our party have decided to use I do weddings in the near future.

I would highly recommend www.ido.com.cy Weddings, I had some reservations at first because of booking it over the internet, but Igor and his team had everything under control. And everything was of the highest standard, down to the confetti and table decorations. We had forty two guests, a bit of a squeeze, but all worked out well with Igor’s help. He showed us different venues as to where you can have the reception, but my daughter wanted it at the hotel outside, which he organized with Horse and carriage, car, 57 seater coach. DJ, balloons, flowers etc.

I can’t thank Igor and Yana enough for all their help and telephone calls from Cyprus to make sure all we wanted was catered for. Igor became part of the family, and we hope to see him next year either in England or over in Cyprus.

Well what else can I say Igor you are brilliant, and thank you for seeing Lauren and Christian on Thursday, with the video and DVD they said they are great.

All I can say is a very very big thank you for a brilliant day and evening.

Hello Igor & all at I do weddings

Once again a big thank you for all that you did for our wedding in Peyia Town Hall.

I would like to say that we have met many people throughout our lives and when you talk about genuinely helpful people who would and did go above the call of duty then Igor you certainly fit that category.

For our special day I planned to get the horse & carriage as a surprise for my new wife. Well, you can understand my worry at entrusting yourself, a man i’d never met, thousands of miles away not to spoil my surprise, but you came up with a plan that worked down to the last seconds and the surprise couldn’t have gone any better and my wife absolutely loved it not realizing until we boarded the carriage that it was for her and just for that i’m truly grateful.

We had on our day the hairdresser, who Mel would recommend, and is truly worth the money taking less than 15 minutes to complete the marvelous job that she did. We’d also highly recommend the Demokritos as the Wedding Reception venue both for the location and for the excellent food (I’ve been a chef for 18 years and i am very fussy) as it was both on time and very, very nice as all our guests commented (just make sure that the waitress isn’t about during the speeches !!!!) The D.J. was top draw and played all our favorite music that both of us like and is another must for your perfect day.

So anyone that is reading this and thinking of getting married in the Paphos area then there is only one man for the job to make all your wedding dreams come true and that is Igor and the team at I do Weddings
